The Trinity Youth Community is a United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) dedicated to servant leadership formation. The Youth Community at Trinity is a Christian covenant community, meaning the Youth enter together into a covenant of their own making. The Youth design a covenant around mutuality and agreed upon norms that help them hold each other lovingly accountable through respect, sharing, support, and spiritual growth. The Trinity Youth Community is dedicated to studying Scripture in ways that are significant to the things that are important in everyday living. The curriculum used in Sunday school and UMYF are custom designed around the topics the Youth submit as important in their lives. We use Scripture and a variety of literature, art, and music to enhance our faith journeys. The Trinity Youth Community holds Christian service as an important part of the faith journey. The Youth work locally and globally to raise awareness about people who have been marginalized and raise funds for non-profit organizations that bring aid and care to the marginalized. And of course the Trinity Youth Community believes that having fun while growing spiritually and serving others is a key component of their covenant lives together! Visitors are welcome to join us any Sunday at 9:30 am for Sunday School, and at Noon for lunch and UMYF.
