Welcome Home!
Trinity United Methodist Church in the heart of the Evergreen Historic District of Midtown Memphis welcomes you to our website. We’re glad you dropped by for a “cyber visit.”
We hope that you will find here what you need to know about Trinity. This site is filled with information about our church family. In June, 2010, the church welcomed its new pastor, Debora Christiansen, who came to Trinity from Macon United Methodist Church.
We believe that you will experience the spirit of Trinity best by dropping by the church for a personal visit. We worship each Sunday morning in the sanctuary building on the corner of Evergreen and Galloway. Our services are at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. You can come by anytime, though, just to visit with the staff in the education building on the opposite corner of the intersection.
The Trinity Youth are so excited to be doing our Famine again this year! During the 30 Hour Famine, our youth group will actually NOT EAT for 30 hours. YES! You read that right. Teenagers not eating for 30 hours. Why? because of hunger-related causesthat's one child every 10 seconds. And we are NOT okay with that, we will NOT stand by while children die from lack of food.
The Famine is our chance to make a difference, our chance to make hunger part of our history not our present, and our chance actually do something about hunger. Our youth have come together and set a group goal. Each $30 we raise will help feed and care for a child for a month. Check out our thermometer to see our goal. Will you help us reach our goal this year?
Donate today on our Team webpage, or in person with any of our youth members.
And so our Famine begins February 24 and 25th!
Thanks for sponsoring us to go withoutso others can eat!
