Trinity UMC presents a new summer music series...
Trinity United Methodist Church is proud to present a new summer music series showcasing local talent. “A Little Summer Music and a little lunch, too!” is designed to bring together Memphis music lovers who could use a relaxing break in an otherwise stressful weekday. One day every other week from July 10 through August 20, we will offer a little music to uplift the soul, beginning at 12:05 p.m., and a box lunch from 12:35–1 p.m. to help get you through the rest of the day.
A Free Summer Music Series
Lunch, only $7
The lunchtime music series will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1538 Galloway on the corner of Evergreen and Galloway in Midtown Memphis. Most of the concerts will be in the sanctuary followed by lunch in the Fellowship Hall. The concerts are free, and the lunch is only $7 per person. If you plan to stay for lunch, please call the Trinity office a few days ahead to help us plan enough meals for everyone. The office number is (901) 274-6895.

Johnny B & the Goods
This newly formed four-piece combo is anything but new. From their collective age of 200+ years to their musical tastes, it's safe to say these guys have been around. John Brindley, aka "Johnny B," plays bass guitar and is from Indianola MS, home of BB King. The "Goods" are: Chicagoan Tom Sporer on guitar and keyboards; Memphians Marc Taylor on guitar and keyboards; and Mike Young on drums. JB, Tom and Marc also sing. Individually their voices are unique and expressive; together their harmonies blend smoothly and sweetly. "Johnny B and the Goods" specialize in private parties including benefits and wedding receptions. This concert will take place in Trinity’s Fellowship Hall with lunch to follow in the same area.
