Trinity's Web Site
Late in 2004 Trinity's site was redesigned to increase its functionality, speed and user-friendliness. Almost everything on the Web site was changed: the appearance, the navigation, even how the site was organized. It is our hope that the new site will continue to have new information, capture your attention and engage the members and visitors of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Navigation
One of the key changes made was to create a more consistent navigational scheme that would allow visitors to find information more easily. The new site uses a dynamic drop down menu which will be easy for most to use but understanding how it works can be difficult at first. Take a moment to learn how the menu works.
Overall Design
The stained glass you see above is one of the church's most beautiful features but often overlooked. From crowns to stars, each one of the smaller windows in the Sanctuary contains a crest that is unique and wondrous. The site's homepage features the largest of the stained glass windows. Located above the balcony the image of Jesus is filled with vibrant colors that sets the tone for the services held within.
Readability
The layout of a Web site can be as important as the content that fills its pages. The new design features two columns, a main column that contains the most important content of each page and a right column that complements the content in the main column.
The font style and size is easy to read from the start but the new design allows for the text size to be changed according to your preference. Learn more about setting the text size.
